Belize, formerly known as British Honduras, is the only English-speaking country in Central America. Belize was a British colony for more than a century and was known as British Honduras until 1973. It became an independent nation in 1981.

Belize is one of the most beautiful places I have visited and I plan to make my home there in the future. Many people come to Belize and just decide to stay, after 3 visits and many more planned, I am hooked.
